Clumsy Genius (p)

Rey was trying to put a book back on the shelf when he fell over. The entire shelf came crashing down with him, landing on his legs with a decided thump. Luckily, the shelf wasn't too big, but it still hurt him a great deal. Groaning as he tried to shift the shelf, Rey was thinking of how much work it would be to prop the shelf back up again and pick up all the books.

Liam was sitting at one of the many tables that the library contained within its walls. He was currently working on a creative writing project, a novel to be specific. It was fantasy, and since he learned that demigods and things were actually real and not just tales spun from myth and legend, he has had much more inspiration for the story than ever before in his life. He was deep in the depths of his imagination and putting the story on the page in front of him when he heard a loud crash from behind him. He looked back to see that a shelf fell over and landed on top of another person. Quickly, Liam got up and pulled the shelf of the boy that it landed on.
"Hey, are you okay?" Liam asked.

"I think i'm good." Said Rey, getting a sense of deja vu. He had done the same thing to himself on his second day at camp. Grateful the shelf had been pulled off of him, he moved to put the books back in their places, sorting with speed only a child of Athena could pull off. "Thanks, by the way. The name's Rey." He finally said.

"No problem! My name's Liam." Liam introduced himself as he picked up a bunch of books with his powers and started to look at the spines to see who wrote them and where they would go on the shelf, not as fast as Rey, but relatively quickly.
"So, do you come here often?" He asked trying to make conversation they didn't just sit there cleaning in silence.

The boy smiled, a rare and fleeting thing. He sorted with a speed that would surprise anybody but his twin, Kase. "It is comfortable, among the books. Child of Athena and all." He replied, before returning to his work. It didn't take long to sort the books, perhaps a few minutes. He stood up, work completed, and fixed his clothes.
